College Advice Blog, Part III: Life After Drop-Off

This is really great advice to parents! As a student I definitely think that parents shouldn't be too involved and turn into "Helicopter Parents." Staying a bit far will allow the students to grow and become more independent. However, I must add that sometimes a bit involvement is not bad and very much needed. Thus, I like that you added "We Are Here for You" on your letter to your son. I think no matter how independent we become in college, it's nice to know that if things get too complicated we can turn to our parents for help.
