I am the main writer, editor, designer, and everything in between for College Advice Blog. I graduated from college with dual bachelor's of science degrees in English and psychology. After graduation, I was not quite sure what to do with my time until graduate school started eight months later. In that time I started thinking about all the things I've learned while in college and decided that it would be unfair for me to keep all that information to myself. So, I started helping out friends with their college related issues and then I decided that I want to spread this advice further. Thus, I came up with the idea of creating this blog!
Currently I am a graduate student training to become a licensed mental health therapist. Thus, I am learning more tips and tricks about the college process, so I'll be sharing as I discover things.
On the personal side: I am a 20 something year old female living in the Big Apple! I enjoy leisure reading (when I actually have time for it), writing, chess, traveling, breathing in every moment of life and living life to the fullest. Oh and one more important thing: I am a Muslim and I love every part of my religion. I leave you with this quote:

Noel A. Magallanez is a 24 year old college enthusiast with higher education mind-set and a passion for writing. Early on was an unfavorable high school setting that would ultimately turn into dreams of becoming a nuclear worker by day and an online professor by night. He obtained his G.E.D. in 2004 and has been in it to win it ever since. Noel then started mentoring his friends and family about how great school was and wanted to be a prime example for others. Writing became a balance to who he was and what sort of person was developing. Noel currently attends the University of the Southwest in southern New Mexico working on his B.A.S. and also concurrently at the New Mexico Junior College working on a Nuclear Technology Program.
